Synopsis of Last Train Home

This film won the 2011 Documentary Award of the Year from the "Youth Film Handbook". The film won the VPROIDFA Award at the Amsterdam International Documentary Film Festival. In 1990, Zhang Changhua (played by Zhang Changhua) and Chen Suqin (played by Chen Suqin), who lived in Huilong Village, Guang'an District, Sichuan, wanted to live a better life for their family, but also for Zhang Qin (played by Zhang Qin) and Zhang Yang (played by Zhang Yang). Yang (played by Yang) can receive a good education and one day be able to escape from the hard life like them in the countryside. They resolutely left a pair of young twin children to work in Guangzhou. They work hard to make money and send money home, and only after a few years can they go back and reunite with their families for a year at a time. The siblings, who usually only live with their grandma, have already felt alienated and indifferent towards them. But her daughter Zhang Qin, like many rebellious teenagers of her age, did not listen to the advice and resolutely dropped out of school, repeating the same mistakes as her parents, leaving home in the village to work in Guangdong...
