Synopsis of The Wind and the Lion
The film tells the story of an American widow (played by Candace Bergen) and her children who were kidnapped by an Arab bandit leader in the desert of the Middle East in 1904. This caused the US government to become nervous and President Roosevelt decided to send troops to recapture her. In the end, the widow influenced the thief leader (Xin Connelly) with her actions and avoided a fatal disaster.
