Synopsis of Ghost Town

Bertram Pinkus (Richy Gervais), a London dentist who practices medicine in New York, is not good at getting along with others, is selfish and cynical. During a colon surgery accident, Berendt faked his death for seven minutes, and after waking up, he had the ability to communicate with ghosts. Berrent, who was annoyed by the ghosts, met Frank (Greg Kinnear), a ghost who was a public relations expert in his lifetime. In order to be clean, he agreed to his request and helped to stop Frank's widow and archaeological expert Gwen. (Téa Leoni) remarried her human rights lawyer boyfriend Richard (Billy Campbell). In contact with Gwen, Berendt found that he gradually fell in love; while Gwen and Richard's marriage was canceled as expected, Frank's wish to get married was not fulfilled. Not only that, the ghosts' requests for Borent's help in fulfilling their last wishes became more and more intense, which made the always self-centered Berrent at a loss... The film won the Central Ohio Film Critics Association Award for Best Overlooked Film and the Satellite Award for Best Actor (Ricky Jeeves).
