Synopsis of My Uncle

Mr. Hulot (played by Jacques Tati) comes from the countryside and lives with his sister (played by Adrienne Servantie) in Paris. He is extremely unaccustomed to the various modern equipment in his sister's home and often gets confused. . Fortunately, the little nephew Gerard liked his uncle and played with him everywhere. Gerard also didn't like the modern equipment at home, so Hulot took him to play in an old house in the suburbs. Hulot's brother-in-law Mr. Arbel (played by Jean-Pierre Zola) helped Hulot find a job in his factory, but Hulot was also not adaptable to modern operating machines and messed up many things. After making many jokes, his brother-in-law couldn't bear it and decided to send him away by introducing him to another job. Hulot happily said goodbye to his little nephew, just treating it as the end of an unusual vacation... This film is the second part of Jacques Tati's "Monsieur Hulot Trilogy".
