Synopsis of Just Cause

Paul Armstrong (Sean Connery), a well-known professor of law at Harvard University who has not litigated for many years, received a letter of injustice today: A girl in Florida was kidnapped and murdered. The police regard Bobby (Blair Underwood), a black college student, as the murderer and are looking for him. After being tortured and forced to sign a confession, the young man with a bright future became a death row prisoner simply because he was a black man. Paul was moved by the letter and decided to come back to defend Bobby. After careful investigation, Paul found enough evidence to clear Bobby's innocence, but he did not expect that everything was carefully planned by Bobby, and that he and his family were his real targets.
