Synopsis of Promised Land

GLOBAL sent employees Steve Butler (Matt Damon) and Sue Thomason (Frances McDormand) to a small town where agriculture is the mainstay of the economy but is rich in natural gas resources, trying to convince local residents and GLOBAL cooperates with the company to extract natural gas, which will also revitalize the local economy.
