Synopsis of The White Crow

The talented and rebellious Soviet ballet superstar Ryliev is a white crow with self-confidence, desire and ambition, who freely indulges in both sexes. The film recounts his experiences from birth on the Siberian Railway to his defection to the West during a performance in Paris. Under the care and training of his mentor Pushkin, he became the world's leading male ballet star. Leif Fiennes ("Dickens' Secret Lover", 38th class) is an excellent actor and director, and rising dance star Ollie Ivango takes on the role for the first time. He is paired with "ballet bad boy" Serge Pluny, lending brilliance to the new generation. Pay tribute to the immortal ballet god.
