Synopsis of The Pursuit of Love

Lily James will star in the BBC's three-part drama "Chasing Love", written and directed by Emily Mortimer ("The Newsroom"), who is familiar as an actress. "Chasing Love" is adapted from Nancy Mitford's novel of the same name. It is the first part of a trilogy (the latter two are "Winter" and "Don't Tell Alfred"), telling the story of World War I and World War II. During this period, it tells the story of an upper-class British family, the Radlett family. The story focuses on the family's daughter Linda and her cousin Fanny. Both of them were initially occupied with love and marriage and were actively looking for their ideal partner. When Fanny decided to calm down, Linda still followed her heart. She first fell in love with a rigid Tory politician, then a passionate communist, and finally fell in love with the French Duke Fabrice. The friendship between the two also continued. Facing the test. Lily James will play Linda.
