Synopsis of The Americanization of Emily
Emily Barham (Julie Andrews) is a British girl. She worked as a service driver at the British-American Allied Forces Headquarters during World War II. And U.S. Army Captain Charles Madison (James Garner) is an outstanding DogRobber. DogRobber refers to the personal assistant to a lieutenant general in the U.S. Army during World War II. He is responsible for taking care of the food, daily life and... "love" life of his superiors during the war. During the car service, Emily witnessed Madison's excellent ability in this regard.
