Synopsis of Scum

In the late 1970s, the BBC asked director Alan Clarke to film a TV series about a correctional center for young criminals. However, because the content was too violent, the TV station banned it. Later made into a movie, it tells the story of a young criminal who climbs up the ladder and becomes the boss of the prison inmates. The content is full of violence, revenge and sexual assault.
