Synopsis of On the Town
Three young sailors - Gabby (played by Jim Carrey), Chip (played by Frank Sinatra) and Oz (played by Jules Munshin) are going to spend a day off in New York. They decide to enjoy this big city and preferably meet love! Gabby fell in love with the "Girl of the Month" on the poster at first sight on the subway, and decided to find her at all costs and confess his love; when the three of them were taking a taxi, Chip was spotted by the female driver, and she couldn't help but take him home to spend the night together. I met a female doctor, an anthropologist, and thought he looked like a standard "prehistoric man", so I fell in love with him happily. The three friends have their own circumstances, among which Gabby's search for "Girl of the Month" is the most difficult and tortuous. Between singing and dancing, the 24-hour holiday seems so short...
