Synopsis of Cover Girl

Dancer Miss Parker has won Vanity Fair magazine's cover girl contest. And the beautiful girl was forced to make a choice: either marry a wealthy producer and become a Broadway star, or stay with her beloved man Danny in a small nightclub in Brooklyn... Danny was also in pain. Later he went to join the army, and Parker was faced with marrying a producer, but she was not happy. She knew that in the end she had to live with the person she truly loved. In "Cover Girl" (Cover Girl 1944), she performed with another dance king Gene Kelly, which was right in the direction of Rita Hayworth. The demand for her photos in Life magazine exceeded the demand, and she became the most popular poster girl for American soldiers sent to fight overseas.
