Synopsis of See You Up There

"Goodbye" is directed and starred by French actor Alberto Ponty, who is both an actor and a director. It is adapted from the novel of the same name by the master of crime novels Pierre Maitre. It tells the story of two people who were brutally punished for witnessing a crime committed by their superior. Soldiers did not expect that after retiring, their officers would become famous, but they themselves would be penniless. In order to prevent the villain from succeeding, they decided to seek justice for themselves. The film brilliantly depicts French society after the First World War, from the muddy battlefields filled with blood and flesh to the gorgeous parties of lavish entertainment, but even the gorgeous masks cannot hide the pain of life behind them.
