Synopsis of Three Colors: Blue

For so many years, Julie (Juliette Binoche) has been silently supporting her husband's creative career and taking care of her 5-year-old child. Her peaceful life was broken by a car accident. The death of her husband and daughter made Julie, who had just woken up in the hospital bed, deeply saddened. She once wanted to die, but after she was discharged from the hospital, she wanted to live in seclusion. She burned her husband's music scores to show her determination to isolate the past. Human life no longer matters to the despairing Julie. However, reality entered her life unprepared and made her start to think about her attitude towards life. This incident unexpectedly made Julie learn that the song turned out to be related to a woman. This woman is already pregnant with her husband's flesh and blood.
