Synopsis of The Raven

The film fictionalizes what happened in the "mysterious" five days before Poe's death. A brutal murder occurred in Baltimore in which a mother and daughter were killed at the same time. After investigation, local police officer Emmett (Luke Evans) investigated and discovered the murderer's criminal methods and Edgar Allan Poe (John Cusack) The method in the novel is exactly the same. Just when Poe was called to the police station for questioning, another murder case occurred, and the method was still based on his novel. After learning about the murderer's methods, Emmett invited Poe to serve as a consultant to help solve the case. As the case progressed further, Emmett discovered that Poe would become the next target of this brutal murderer. While everyone was trying their best to protect the safety of Edgar Allan Poe, unexpectedly the murderer kidnapped his lover Emily (played by Alice Eve). Who is the real murderer? Can Edgar Allan Poe use his novel to uncover this murderous game?
