Synopsis of Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives

Tommy (played by Thom Mathews), whose parents were killed by Jason, went to the cemetery with his friends on a rainy night. They opened Jason's grave and tried to burn the body to vent their anger. Suddenly lightning fell from the sky and struck Jason's head. The corpse, in Tommy's surprised eyes, the murderer Jason actually came back to life! A frightened Tommy seeks help from the local Detective Garris (David Kagen), but the latter believes that Jason is history and Tommy's performance is just the sequelae of mental illness.
