Synopsis of Amityville II: The Possession
The Monteris family moved into a three-story villa on Long Island, but their life was not going well. The family members felt restless all the time, as if there was a mysterious force disturbing their nerves. Finally one night, the youngest son of the Monteris family seemed to be manipulated and attempted to kill his relatives... This film is adapted from real events. At around 3 a.m. on an April day in 1974, a massacre occurred in a three-story villa in the Amityville neighborhood of Long Island, New York. Ronald, the youngest son of the Leian family, took advantage of his parents and brothers while they were sleeping and shot them one by one with a rifle. Ronald later claimed that someone had entered his body and he could not help but commit a heinous crime. Although the court ultimately accepted his defense, rumors about the haunted villa continued to spread. A year later, the Lutzes purchased the villa at a very low price. During their stay, they were plagued by various strange things. Eventually, the Lutzes moved out and the villa remains unoccupied to this day.
