Synopsis of Love on the edge of volcano

Karin lived in a refugee camp in Italy at the end of the war. She had no money to leave there and make a living elsewhere. In the refugee camp, she met Antonio, an Italian soldier, married him, and returned with him to her hometown of Strombo Island. On the desolate volcanic island, Karin felt very lost in the living habits and customs of the locals. Everything she did was considered to be against the folk customs and a bad woman. Karin wanted to escape the island, so she fled to the volcano. After waking up from a coma, she was lonely and could only pray to God for help and enlightenment...
