Synopsis of Body Heat

Ned Racine (William Hurt) is a slippery, incompetent and lustful Florida lawyer. At a concert, Ned met the married socialite Maddie Walker (Kathleen Turner). The extramarital affair between the two makes Ned increasingly crazy. He finally decides to eliminate Maddie's husband, the tycoon Edmund Walker (Richard Crenna), help Maddie inherit the property and fly away. After the murder, Ned's friends, prosecutor Pete (Ted Danson) and police detective Oscar (J.A. Preston), both opposed Ned and Maddie's continued relationship, and at the same time had to deal with their relationship. An investigation opens into the death of Edmund Walker. The development of the situation is getting more and more beyond Ned's expectation. Can he trust Tracy McGrady? The film was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best New Star of the Year (Katherine Turner) and the BAFTA Award for Best New Starlet (Katherine Turner).
