Synopsis of Double Indemnity

Walter Neff (Fred MacMurray) is a successful insurance agent. He returned to the office at night and started telling his story on a tape recorder... In order to obtain Mr. Dietrichson's insurance agency rights, Neff came to his home. Mr. Dietrichson was not there. Neff met Mr. Dietrichson's new wife Phyllis Dietrichson (Barbara Stanwyck). The beautiful Phyllis made Neff feel uncomfortable, and she began to talk about the many bad things about her husband.
