DanfungDennis used his documentary to tell us that even after leaving the battlefield, soldiers did not stop fighting, and the enemy they faced was often themselves. Behind the scenes story: This film is director Danfung's first documentary and won the Jury Prize in the World Cinema Documentary Unit at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival. With extremely impactful images, the film allows the audience to have close contact with war conflicts and post-war life, and truly shows the true price that mankind pays for war. Danfung Dennis is a former photojournalist who has provided photographs of the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan for newspapers and magazines for many years.
