Synopsis of Essential Killing

Afghan Muhammad (Vincent Gallo) encountered three American troops in the deserted mountains. In panic, he killed them with the weapon in his hand. Muhammad was captured alive by the US military who arrived later, and was interrogated and tortured in a US military prison. On the way to escort, a US military vehicle encountered a car accident, and Mohammed accidentally gained freedom in the chaos. He killed passers-by in the ice and snow, robbed vehicles and clothes, and killed military dogs while being tracked by the US military. In the uninhabited forest, Mohammed relied on tree bark to satisfy his hunger and fought for survival in an extraordinary battle with trapped animals. Amidst the invasion of ice and snow, he vaguely saw the past and miraculously perceived what would happen in the future. Mohammed's escape was accompanied by almost random killings, and the harsh living environment prompted him to return to his original origins...
