Synopsis of The Awful Truth
The story takes place in New York, USA. Jerry and Lucy Warina are a couple. They live a luxurious life in the upper class and often attend various individual events. Although they were very happy, after a while they began to have doubts about each other. Finally, they decided to divorce. Lucy was granted custody of the dog they were raising, but Jerry had visitation rights. They both started dating other people before their divorce actually went through. Lucy met Shan Leeson, a very wealthy oil businessman from Oklachma, but a very troublesome man who was traveling with his mother. Jerry fell in love with Barbara Vance, a socialite who had just inherited a large inheritance. Both Lucy and Jerry go to great lengths to sabotage each other's arrangements and plans. "Beautiful Girl" is a comedy film produced by the famous director Leo McCurry. McCurry relied on his extraordinary artistic sensitivity to transform a loophole-filled and ridiculous plot into a very interesting film. A model that turns stone into gold.
