Synopsis of The Wolverine

Located in the deep mountains and forests of Canada, "Wolverine" Logan (played by Hugh Jackman), who is burdened with the pain of eternal life, lives in seclusion here. In a conflict with a hunter, he was helped by a Japanese woman Yukio (played by Rila Fukushima). Yukio is a subordinate sent by Logan's old acquaintance Yashida during World War II. It seems that the old friend who has recently passed away is eager to see Logan before his death. After crossing the ocean, Logan finally saw the weak Yashida, who hoped that he could protect his granddaughter Mariko (played by Okamoto Tao). As the old man passed away, war suddenly broke out at the funeral. Logan desperately rescued Mariko with the help of Yukio, but Yashida's son Shingen (played by Hiroyuki Sanada) seemed to have other intentions. On the way to escape, Logan accidentally discovered that he had lost the ability to heal himself, and Wolverine's biggest crisis came... This film is adapted from the original comic book by Frank Miller.
