Synopsis of New Year's Eve

As the bright sun sets, the curtain of New Year's Eve slowly opens. In this night that should be full of hope and warmth, there are still a group of people who are each in trouble. Times Square Show host Morgan (Hilary Swank) is nervously doing final rehearsals; Doe (Sarah Jessica Parker) is spending New Year's Eve with her daughter Hailey, who insists on spending New Year's Eve with her boyfriend (Abigail Breslin) is having trouble; cartoonist Randy (Ashton Kutcher) is still immersed in the trouble of being dumped by his ex-girlfriend, New Year's Eve will only make him more irritable; and Poor Harris (Robert De Niro) has reached the terminal stage of cancer and just wants to watch the New Year's ball dropping ceremony in Times Square for the last time... Like many New Yorkers who are troubled by life, they are busy in their own small positions, but they have no time to open their eyes and see that the blessings of the New Year have quietly arrived...
