Synopsis of Sanctuary

"Alien Asylum" is the latest drama series launched by the American Science Fiction Channel in May. This drama is produced by the production team of "Stargate" and is the creator of "Stargate SG1" and "Stargate Atlantis". Starring the original cast, the series will only air online. Stem cells, gene therapy, organ transplantation, cloning, "human beings" in modern society are changing every day. But there is a dark side to human evolution, a reality that few dare to face: the world is littered with alien monsters, and these aliens hold the key to the future of our species. Amanda Tapping plays a 157-year-old Dr. Helen Magnus, one of the first female doctors at the Royal Academy in the Victorian era. She was engaged to Jack the Ripper and had a daughter, Ashley. But Ashley doesn't know that his father is Jack. Dr. Magnus' father founded a sanctuary for mysterious creatures, collecting them from all over the world. While studying these creatures, Dr. Magnus discovered that she had gained longevity.
