Synopsis of Dear Frankie
Frankie (Jack McEl) moves to Scotland with his mother Liz (Emily Mortimer) and her grandmother. He is a nine-year-old deaf child, smart and sensible, full of expectations for his father. He often wrote letters to his father, a sailor, and hung up the nautical charts of his father's ship. But he didn't know that everything was a white lie by his mother, who made up everything about his father. In fact, they moved around to get rid of his father's cruel domestic violence.
