Synopsis of Life Support
The film is adapted from the true story of Ana Willis, a woman who lived in Brooklyn and struggled with AIDS. Ana's life was full of drugs and AIDS, and she took on the work of rescuing and promoting AIDS knowledge in the AIDS community. Ana's husband Slick (played by Wendell Pierce) once took drugs together with AIDS patients. Ana's grandmother Lucille (played by Anna Deavere Smith) couldn't bear the torture and ran away to Virginia. One day, Amare (played by Evan Ross), an HIV-infected patient, suddenly disappeared, and Ana also embarked on the road to find him.
