Synopsis of The Long Walk Home

In Alabama, USA, in the mid-1950s, black Rosa Parks refused to ride in the black section of a public bus, triggering anti-racial discrimination protests. Martin Luther King Jr. King mobilized local blacks to refuse buses into the city. Hubby. Goldberg plays Cisse. Spacek's maid, who walked nine kilometers to work every day to support the protests. After the white hostess found out about this, she tried to influence her businessman husband to take action to improve the current situation of black-white segregation. However, she received no kind response, so she took the initiative to drive to pick up the black women participating in the demonstration. Director Richard. Pierce worked hard to create the era atmosphere of a southern town to enhance the realism of this period of history. Coupled with the equally matched performances of the two heroines, this film with a relatively bland plot is still enjoyable to watch.
