Synopsis of Last Days in Vietnam

Released. The story tells the story of the last days of the Vietnam War. The North Vietnamese army was victorious and the South Vietnamese army was facing collapse. The United States could only face this moral dilemma - should it obey the White House's order to evacuate only American citizens, or should it risk being forced to evacuate? Charges of treason risked keeping as much of the story of the South Vietnamese allies as possible. In the last days of the Vietnam War, the North Vietnamese army was victorious and the South Vietnamese army was facing collapse. The victory of communism was inevitable. American diplomats and military personnel were instructed to prepare to retreat. However, they also realized that when they left, they had South Vietnamese allies who helped and surrendered to them would face life-threatening threats. At this time, they could only face this moral dilemma - whether to obey the White House's order to evacuate only American citizens, or to retain as many South Vietnamese allies as possible at the risk of being accused of treason.
