Synopsis of Super 8½
Bruce LaBruce, who challenges the limits of eroticism in "Super 8 and a Half", expresses the voice of an erotic actor in this semi-autobiographical film. The four has-been celebrities floating around the Sunset Strip met an eccentric director one day, and the director even took the initiative to ask him to come out again to make a documentary. During the filming process, Bruce encountered all kinds of old and new acquaintances, and even invited the drag industry representative Vaginal Crème Davis and New York director Richard Kern to make guest appearances, trying to find himself through comedy. TimeOutFilm even described the film as "dangerous and provocative".
