Synopsis of Fame

At the entrance examination site of an art high school in New York City, a large number of young people with artistic dreams hope to embark on a new journey in life after passing the instrumental music, performance, and dance exams. The candidates' styles and personalities are obviously different, turning the serious entrance test into a comedy with frequent accidents. Bruno, who is obsessed with "future music", Dorothy, who is cowardly but has to take the exam because of her mother's expectations, Leif, who brags about his fictional father, and Lillo, who is unexpectedly selected to dance with his friends, and others have successfully realized their wishes. Professional and arduous training began. While they continued to expand their acting skills, they were also experiencing the trials of life and love. Occasionally, some students fell behind due to lack of effort. Although the future is full of difficulties, these young people are releasing the light of their dreams in their best years... The film won the 1981 Academy Award for Best Original Score, the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Score and other awards.
