Synopsis of Ship of Fools
This film describes the rise of the Nazi power in Germany in 1933. Many ridiculous things happened on a large passenger ship sailing from Mexico to Berlin, reflecting the microcosm of life in the world under the special atmosphere of the times. The crew were all German, including the ship's doctor, who fell in love with one of the female passengers. There is also a young American girl traveling with the man she loves. To the other passengers, the mysterious Jenny is an enigma, but one famous figure catches her attention. When the Nazis rose in Germany in 1933, there was a passenger ship carrying passengers from South America to Berlin. This film describes the life fragments of various passengers on the ship during the voyage. This is a small microcosm in the context of a big era. The script has a tight structure, the dialogue is wonderful and powerful, and the director Stanley.
