Synopsis of Black Narcissus

The plot tells the story of Sister Crota from the Calcutta Monastery in India who was transferred to Napu Monastery as the abbot. The Napu Monastery is located on a mountain 8,000 feet above sea level in northern India, with strong winds blowing all year round. Crota built schools and hospitals, and even young generals came to receive education. Although Crota worked hard and managed the city in an orderly manner, the young nuns relied on self-discipline to practice in remote mountains.
