Synopsis of Filth

Bruce (James McAvoy) is a Scottish policeman who has a beautiful wife and a lovely daughter. Their happy marriage is enviable. A Japanese was murdered in a tunnel. The police department took this case very seriously. At the same time, the police department recently had a promotion spot, and Bruce and several of his colleagues were eager to take the opportunity. And Bruce is convinced that through his excellent case-handling skills and some small means, as long as he can solve this case, he will be promoted. While investigating the murder, Bruce took over another case - investigating who always made harassing phone calls to the wife of his friend Bladesey. In the process of handling the case, Bruce continued to show the audience how an excellent police officer is using his evil humanity to achieve his goals... The film is adapted from the novel of the same name by Evan Welsh, the author of "Trainspotting".
