Synopsis of Man Without a Star

Dansley (Kirk Douglas) is a wandering cowboy. By chance, he met a man named Jeff (William Campbell), and they formed a deep friendship. . Under the introduction of their old friend Adoni (Claire Trevor), Dansley and Jeff came to work under foreman Streep (Jay C. Flippen). Miss Bonn (Jeanne Crain) became Dansley and Jeff's new boss. A series of misunderstandings and accidents made Dansley decide to resign and leave, but Miss Bonn tried her best to stay. Eventually, Densley decided to confront his bleak past. However, in the end, Dansley still could not get used to the life of being controlled by others. He quit his job on the farm and embarked on the journey again, becoming a free wandering cowboy.
