Synopsis of The New Legends of Monkey Season 1

"Journey to the West" has been remade again, this time produced by See-Saw Films ([The King's Speech]) and directed by Gérard Johnstone ([Stay Home]). The drama has ten episodes, each episode is 30 minutes long. The plot is adapted from "Journey to the West: Conquering Demons" and "Journey to the West: Conquering Demons". It tells the story of a young girl and three immortals who were demoted to earth, and embark on a dangerous journey to restore the balance of the world. Chai Hanson, Lucini Buchanan and others star. The series will be broadcast on ABC Australia and Television New Zealand.
