Synopsis of Ship of Theseus

"The Ship of Theseus" consists of three seemingly unrelated independent stories. In the first paragraph, a blind girl photographer became famous for successfully holding a personal photo exhibition while she was blind, but she could not find inspiration for photography after a corneal transplant restored her vision. In the second paragraph, a monk who resists animal experimentation faces the choice of liver transplantation or death because of liver cirrhosis - and the transplant operation itself is based on the animal experimentation he opposes. In the third paragraph, a young man who originally only cared about money accidentally learned about kidney transactions in hospitals and society after his own kidney transplant surgery, as well as some "kidney stealing" behaviors. And because of this unexpected discovery, he started many social activities that had nothing to do with money. At the end of the film, the protagonist of the third story was invited to a special film screening - the participants were all patients who had received organ transplants, and their organs came from the same donor. So we saw that the girl who received the corneal transplant and the monk who received the liver transplant in the first two stories also appeared here. The movie they watched together was a cave exploration video taken by the donor during his lifetime. The deep cave is as mysterious and magnificent as the vast universe...
