Synopsis of The Canal

David William (Rupert Evans), a film conservator at the National Film Archive, moved into a building with his beautiful wife Alice (Hannah Hoekstra) five years ago. An old house with hundreds of years of history. Life after that was as ordinary as water, and the couple gave birth to a lovely son, Billy (played by Calum Heath). One day, while recording for a police film, David accidentally discovered that a horrific murder of his wife had occurred in his house in 1902. In the days that followed, he was troubled by nightmares and hallucinations about his wife's murder. At the same time, David's control over his wife and jealousy of other men also increased day by day. Until one day, Alice suddenly disappeared from David's life, and the bloody case from a hundred years ago seemed to reappear. David becomes an important suspect, and he suspects that the evil spirit of the murderer is lingering over the family...
