Synopsis of Somewhere in Time

College student Richard (Christopher Reeve) met an old woman at his graduation ceremony. The old woman gave him a gold watch and said she would wait for him to come back. Although he felt very strange, the matter was settled. Eight years later, he became a famous script writer. In search of inspiration, he came to a hotel for vacation. The hotel has a long history. In the historical display room, he was deeply attracted by a photo of the female star Elise (Jane Seymour). , and recognized her as the old woman who gave the gold watch.
