Synopsis of Raining Stones

Two men in a small town in England, Bob (Bruce Jones) and Tommy (Ricky Tomlinson), are middle-aged unemployed and in trouble. The two took the risk and drove to the mountains to steal sheep, and then asked a butcher to process the mutton and sell it around. Before he could make any money, the truck he depended on for a living was stolen again. They can only make money by doing odd jobs here and there, such as plumbers, bar bouncers and even turf thieves, trying their best to make money. Loan shark businessman Willin breaks into Bob's house to collect debts and humiliates his wife and daughter. Bob was so angry that he went to seek revenge with iron pliers in hand... The film won the Jury Prize at the 1993 Cannes International Film Festival.
