Synopsis of Vincent & Theo
At the auction, the price of Vincent van Gogh's (Tim Roth) masterpiece "Sunflowers" gradually increased, and was finally fixed on an astronomical figure. When the world is enthusiastically pursuing Van Gogh's art, who would have thought of a name like Theo (played by Paul Rhys)? This film tells the story between Van Gogh and his younger brother Theo. Van Gogh was trapped in poverty all his life. In order to persist in his art, he had to rely on the help of his younger brother Theo. In Van Gogh's view, he could only devote himself to canvas and color, and other troubles in life should be solved by his younger brother, because he gave all his works to Theo.
