Synopsis of L.A. Confidential

This film is adapted from the novel by James Ellroy and depicts the corrupt police and crime-ridden Los Angeles in the 1950s. Jack Vinson (played by Kevin Spacey) is a celebrity in the police circle. He often appears in the TV media. He works in cahoots with the gossip reporter of "Hush News" and earns extra money by creating and exposing sexy news about celebrities.
