Synopsis of Brother

They have different skin colors, but they are two brothers thicker than blood. Brother Julio (played by Eliú Armas) and his mother picked up younger brother Daniel (played by Fernando Moreno) in the garbage dump. Fifteen years later, the two brothers joined the neighborhood football team together. Julio is the captain and Daniel is the main forward. A professional team comes to look for new players, and Danny hopes that his brother can leave the streets with him and stop hanging around with gangs. However, an accidental gunfire caused the two brothers' mother to be accidentally killed by Julio's gangster friends. Daniel witnessed the whole process, but his desire to protect his brother prevented him from speaking; Julio, who did not know what was happening, wanted to seek revenge, and broke up with Daniel. A brotherhood finally came to a fork in the road... Venezuela's 2010 box office champion, winning audience awards at major film festivals in South America. Represented Venezuela in the 83rd Academy Awards for Best Foreign Language Film.
