Synopsis of I Am Curious (Blue)
Following the previous film "Yellow Version", the director went on to film "Blue Version" the next year. Both the director and his cast received terrible negative reception. At a time when people on the street were convinced of the excitement of the "non-violent" movement, Lena (Lena Nyman) raised her views on premarital sex, contraception, class system and other issues on the streets of Sweden. Director Wilgot Siemann proposed the idea of making a fruitful film for her and Boyer, asking Lina to recall her childhood behind the camera while watching the man and woman performing in front of her. Outside of the film, Lina had a close relationship with Boyer, and Boyer even asked Lina to lie to the director about living with him. Later, Lina met her old lover and had fun in the amusement park... The story line of this film runs in parallel with the previous "Huang Translation", using unused and reshot footage from the previous film to show Lina's self-discovery story from another perspective.
