Synopsis of Strictly Ballroom

Scott (Paul Mercurio) was born in a dance family. Under the influence of his parents, the young and handsome man is full of interest in dance. Scott, who is full of creativity, likes to add his own fresh dance steps to traditional dances, but it is obvious that the rigid judges do not like Scott's innovation. A girl named Fran (Tara Morice) finds Scott, hoping to partner with him. Scott unexpectedly discovered that the rhythm between him and Fran was abnormally in sync. With their cooperation, sincere emotions arose between the two young people. Scott's mother Shirley (Pat Thomson) was not satisfied with the unattractive Fran. She found the beautiful and unrestrained Tina (Sonia Kruger), hoping that she could become Scott's new dance partner.
