Synopsis of Muriel's Wedding

Since his student days, the unattractive Murrell (Toni Collette) has been told by his peers that it is impossible to enter the palace of marriage. However, even so, Murrell, who gradually enters society, is still full of desire for marriage. . By chance, Murrell reunited with his former schoolmate Rhonda (Rachel Griffiths). The two hit it off immediately when they met, and then went to Sydney to live a "living together" life. Murrell met a man named Bryce (played by Matt Day). Bryce is an athlete whose dream is to represent the country in the Olympics. Finally, Murrell and Bryce entered the marriage hall hand in hand, but as time passed, Murrell discovered that Bryce had no love for him and could only use him. Frustrated, Murrell returned to Rhonda, who at this time had cancer and was running out of time.
