Synopsis of Beyond the Blackboard

Beth (Emily VanCamp) has longed to be a teacher since she was a child. After graduating from college, she got an opportunity to teach in a homeless shelter. Although Bess never thought that her dream would come true in such a way, she still walked onto the podium with enthusiasm. Although the ideal is full, the reality is cruel. There is only one classroom for Bess in the shelter, and she is responsible for six entire grades of students. Beth, who has suffered repeated setbacks, has decided to give up. At this time, her husband Brandon (Colin Baiocchi) stood firmly behind his wife, supporting and encouraging her. With Brandon's help, Beth repainted and arranged the teachers, and recruited a homeless man named Nelson to become an art teacher. This small school is on the right track.
