Synopsis of Steamboy

In the middle of the 19th century, in the British Empire of the Victorian era, the Industrial Revolution was in the ascendant. Reason and progress seemed to override everything, marking the infinite possibilities for the progress of human civilization. Just before the opening of the First World's Fair, Ray Steen, a 13-year-old boy living in London (voiced by Anne Suzuki) suddenly received a "steam ball" from his inventor grandfather (voiced by Katsuo Nakamura) from the United States. "(SteamBall)'s mysterious power device.
