Synopsis of Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan

The Slippery Ghost is the general of monsters who leads the Night Parade of Hundred Ghosts. Thirteen-year-old Nura Rikuo (voiced by Jun Fukuyama) seems to be an ordinary middle school student, and he likes his classmate and parent Kana (voiced by Hirano Aya). But in fact, he has a quarter of monster blood and is the grandson of the big monster "Slippery Ghost". He is respectfully called the Young Master by the monsters of the "Nura Group", and he has a close confidant named Oikawa Hingrei (voiced by Yui Horie) beside him. But he only wants to be an ordinary human being and refuses to admit the fact that he is a monster, let alone inherit the position of the third generation of the Nura-gumi. An accident four years ago awakened his monster blood and temporarily restored his monster appearance. However, during the day, he returned to his human appearance and forgot that he was a monster. Since then, Nura Rikuo has been living a peaceful human life. But in fact, since the day of his awakening, he has made up his mind to succeed the third generation of the Nuragumi, stand on the top of all ghosts, and become the master of ghosts and monsters.
